On October 1st 2018, Rhino Stew off YouTube uploaded a very interesting video, about a theory that Snowpiercer was essentially a darker, more apocalyptic sequel to Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory. He makes some solid points, and brings up some interesting details from the film that, when you think about them, make the case kind of plausible. Some things are a stretch, of course, but otherwise it is a very fun and approachable topic.

Let’s start off this the very obvious Gematriot:
Willy Wonka and Snowpiercer both have very similar values in Ordinal and Reverse, as well as Climate Change and Chris Evans. In Snowpiercer the climate is changed by man to induce an ice age. Charlie Bucket overlaps with Chris Evans. It is important to note that Johnny Depp was born on the day leaving 205 days in the year.

Snowpiercer = 152 starring Chris Evans = 152 released in South Korea on the day leaving 152 days in the year.

Snowpiercer premiered in Times Square exactly 505 months after the US release of Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory. The Johnny Depp remake of the film (which released in the UK on the same day that Snowpiercer premiered) was titled:
