The above image is a screen capture from the film “Suicide Squad” released in 2016. The actor is Jay Hernandez, playing the character of “El Diablo,” a powerful meta-human who has the ability to control fire, and does some pretty cool shit in this otherwise shit movie. Yes, this movie is complete garbage, but there is something here that I’m glad I picked up on: This film was released with this character in such a way as to program the death of someone who looks eerily similar to this character: Zombie Boy.

This is Rick Genest, better known as Zombie Boy. He was a model, musician, and freak show performer who held the Guinness world record for most insects and bones tattooed on the body. He was also featured in Lady Gaga’s music video “Born this way.”

Genest died a few days before his 33rd birthday by falling off his balcony. Officials say he commit Suicide, while his relatives say it was an accident, as no note was left behind. Now, knowing what we know, neither of these is the case. 33rd birthday? Really?
